Basset & Bloodhound Kennel
Welcome to the homepage of kennel „Forsthaus Falkenstein“, a small kennel for Basset Hounds and Bloodhounds, recognized by the Austrian Cynological Federation (ÖKV).
As an official kennel for these two beautiful breeds, we are also members of the Austrian Basset and Scent Hound Club (ÖBaLC), whose strict breeding regulations we adhere to.
A strong emphasis of our breeding is on the health and working ability of both breeds.
Our Breeding Plans
! WE ARE EXPECTING BLOODHOUND PUPPIES AT THE END OF SEPTEMBER 2026 !
From our successful pairing of “CH Scott’s Secret Keeper Madge x “CH Georgi von Bertram Knoll Bloodhound Berlin,” puppies are expected at the end of September 2026. The ultrasound appointment has already confirmed the pregnancy, and we also know that we can look forward to a large litter again.
Here are a few pictures of the successful young talent, who by now has not only passed their first work trials successfully but is also doing very well in the show ring.
!!! ANKA´s PUPPIES ARE BORN ON AUGUST 20, 2026 !!!
Our Anka gave birth to seven beautiful puppies on August 20, 2026 – 5 males and 2 females. One bicolor male is still looking for his loving family, because we were expecting 5-6 and Anka surprised us with 7 puppies. So we can make another family happy!
